Our Mission
Through consultancy and training, we help schools develop trauma-informed practices to prepare for bereavement in all its forms.
We equip senior leaders with the necessary tools and strategies for managing critical incidents and supporting the community during times of loss.
We are dedicated to empowering staff with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate the challenges of death and trauma in schools.
We aim to foster resilience and preparedness, ensuring that every school is ready to face the unimaginable with compassion and competence.
What We Offer
Consultancy
As experienced educational and mental health consultants, we can offer targeted support for your school. Whether you are looking to develop the school's resilience or focus on a specific incident, we can help
INSET
At some point in their career, all teachers will be faced with the challenges of supporting a bereaved pupil in their classroom. Developing the confidence to manage the language of death and loss is the first step to making sure that bereaved students and families get the right support at school
Parent workshops
Many parents avoid the topic of death with their children for fear of getting it wrong. Our creative and inclusive workshops offer parents and carers the opportunity to think about what they believe and what to say when difficult questions arise.
Governance & SLT training
Schools are excellent at putting policies and procedures in place to cover most eventualities, but what about planning for critical incidents? We will support governors and senior leaders to plan for the unimaginable so that, if tragedy strikes, you are prepared.
